COVID-19: ACOMORAN Reveals Post Lockdown Plans, Pledges More Support For Ogun Members.


The Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle And Motorcycle Owners, Repairers And Riders Association Of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) in Ogun State has revealed plans to distribute more nose covers for free to members in the state and enforce its usage after the lockdown is lifted.

This was made known by the PRO, Aremo Akinlolu Agunbiade, during a Radio interview on Roots FM 97.1 in Abeokuta where he entertained calls from listeners who applauded the plan to distribute and enforce the nose masks.

The distribution of nose masks is part of the efforts of the Association to assist its members.

Aremo however warned members to use the nose masks provided, adding that tasks force in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies have been saddled with the responsibility to ensure the compliance of government directive to use nose masks.

“The government has mandated the use of Nose masks after the lockdown is lifted, and this is not just to protect the riders, but also, to protect the passengers. Thereby controlling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic within the state.

“This is a tough period for us all, as all aspects of the society has been affected by the lockdown. That’s why we are reducing the pressure on our members by providing them with some of the things they need to obey government directives while on duty”.

He also advised members to observe their passengers and report suspicious cases to the nearest medical center.

The Association has pledged to continuously support its members while advising them to all obey medical guidelines to ensure their safety.
