Eid al-Adha: Toybite Boss, Temidayo Ogunlade Felicitates With Muslims

Renown philanthropist and Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Toybite hotel and event center, Temidayo Ogunlade, on Thursday felicitated with Muslim faithful on this year’s celebration of Eid al-Adha, otherwise known as ‘Ileya’ and urged Nigerians to make the fear of God the foundation for their lives.

In a goodwill message from the entrepreneur who hails from Imala Idi-Emi, ward 14 in Abeokuta North was made available to journalists, to commemorate the Eid al-Adha, he said the festival symbolised the fear of Allah and the desire of man to always comply with the wish of his creator as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

‘Eid Mubarak is undoubtedly the biggest for all Muslim, The Almighty Allah blessed Muslims all over the world with two joys of Eid in each year.

’Eid el-Fitr which comes after one month of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Adha which is called the Sacrifice Feast which Prophet Ibrahim used Ram as sacrifice instead of his son Ishmael.’

Ogunlade charged Muslims to continue to pray for the government, the Military who are saddled with the responsibility to end insurgency, adding that the peace and socio-economic development of our nation remains paramount. Also, he appreciated the health workers who are at the forefront on fighting the global pandemic.

While urging the people to stay in tune with governments’ directives on ways to stop the spread of Covid-19, Ogunlade urged all Islamic brethren to keep praying fervently to the Almighty Allah,the merciful and the most benevolent to consider his Prophet Muhammad (SAW), by totally and completely eradicating this killer virus from the world.

Ogunlade concluded by admonishing all Abeokuta and in extension Ogun state citizens to keep observing the safety measures put in place by the government, global health experts and world leaders such as using of nose masks, obeying social distancing order, application of sanitizers cum regular washing of hands with sanitary soaps etc.
