#EndSARS: Ladi Adebutu Mourns Death Of Peaceful Protesters

The Chairman, Ladi Adebutu Development Organisation (LADO), Hon. (Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu, has expressed grief and condemned the killings of protesters at the Lekki Tollgate area of Lagos on Tuesday, October 20 by suspected military men.

Adebutu, in a statement signed by the Organisation’s media consultant, Afolabi Orekoya condemned the wanton destruction of lives and properties by hoodlums who took an advantage of the #EndSARS protests.

He said, “Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu hereby seizes this opportunity to express his heartfelt condolences to those who have lost loved ones, those who are in physical or emotional pain, those that are financially distressed by these events or for that matter a combination of these woes, may God please grant us the fortitude to overcome. Amen.”

Also, Adebutu called for justice for everyone, who had fallen victim of government’s action or inactions in the face of the nationwide protests, stressing that the rights to peaceful assembly remained guaranteed by the Constitution.

Meanwhile, Adebutu has suspended the planned symposium on Public Private Partnership towards the development of Ogun state and the forthcoming installation ceremony as Lisa Aje Egba.
