EndSARS Protesters Hit Ijebu Ode Roads, Says Enough Is Enough


In the early hours of Saturday, students and youth form majority of protesters who also joined in solidarity with the #EndSARS campaign going round the country in Ijebu Ode, Ogun barricading the Ijebu ode – Benin ore express way.

The Inspector General of Police had disband the Special Anti-Robbery squad (SARS), a unit of the Nigeria Police force responsible for tackling Armed Robbery who had in many circumstance killed innocent Nigerians, and also abandoned their initial responsibility of fighting anti robbery to killing and extorting innocent Nigerians and majorly cyber fraudster popularly Known as Yahoo boys.

In an interview with Eagles Path, Adekunle said ” We don’t want SWAT or what’s the new name of the squad formed, they are all the same, we want them to leave us to be free and stop killing us”

Racheal a student said , ” I feel for guys especially who have been victims, they can hardly go out without being apprehended, it is not a crime for us to have handsome brothers and friends, some are targets because of dread, while some because of dressing, it all should stop”

Charles in his words said ” We need a country of ours, we can’t continue living like slaves, we demand for good governance he added”.

Adeyemi in his words, “our brothers are being killed in different countries, xenophobic attack all the time, still yet , they keep killing us in our own land too, enough is enough!”.
