Nigerian Youth Parliament Commends Governor Abiodun, Applauds His Youth Initiatives


The Nigerian Youth Parliament has commanded the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who became a year older today and also celebrates his first year in office as governor.

The Chief Whip of the Parliament, Akinoso Olusesi, who represents Ogun Central in the Parliament made this known while addressing Newsmen in Abeokuta yesterday.

He said, “Governor Abiodun is an expression of how governance in a state should be. The last one year in Ogun State gives testament to the transformation that we have witnessed.

“He fulfils every leadership obligation with the height of commitment and passion towards a better living for the people of Ogun State.

“It’s our joint wish, the wish of all lovers of progress in Ogun State, that you celebrate many more years in fulfilment and greatness”.

Olusesi said every sector of the state has experienced noticeable progress in the last one year. He attributed the progress to the commitment of Gov. Abiodun to the people of Ogun State.

While recounting the achievements of the governor so far, especially matters that deal with the youth population of the state, Olusesi scored Gov. Abiodun high, saying that the job portal initiative aimed at engaging youths in the state productively.

He encouraged the governor to continue along the path of achievements, adding that Ogun state is setting the pace for others to follow
